Professional Profile
My biggest strengths are in engineering creativity, agility, adaptability, and technical knowledge. I thoroughly enjoy working in an industry where innovation means finding smarter, faster, and leaner ways to get it done. Not just on paper, but in environments constrained by budget, time, terrain, and even other factors often beyond our control. All with the understanding that the only thing consistent in the Montney, or our industry, is change.
I have over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including nearly 13 years on Strathconas Kakwa asset which went from me being on the EPC side for Mosaic Energy as a consultant for a few EPCs to being fully in-house for Strath/Strathcona Resources for the past 6 years.
My original oil and gas journey began in a medium-sized EPC world, working the early days of CBM, and basic task work not long after shifting gears to a smaller EPC format where I was truly able to expand into a variety of projects and equipment and build on my technical knowledge and skillset around equipment, process, and people.
The past many years have progressed through the successful completion of hundreds of small to major projects that have included all types of oil and gas processing equipment, and pipelines through a variety of zones - such as Montney, Dunvegan, Duvernay, Wilrich, and some conventional oil plays.
My most recent role has been the most exciting and transformative, having operated as Strathcona Resources sole Facility Engineer from 5000 bbls/day to nearly 40,000 bbls/day while they were one of the fastest growing E+P companies in North America. This eventually led me down the path of having a small effective team while running my capital projects up to about $85mm in a year of facility-specific capital across 3 Montney assets.
